TACS Glazed Expressions No.65

This current edition marks a move to full colour to make the most of the colourful tiles and ceramics featured in the magazine. There are some fascinating articles including one on memorial tiles to United Empire Loyalists in a church in Canada, and a recent ceramic art installation in York St Mary’s, as well as the regular items. A new feature in the magazine, which I hope will become a regular one, is a slot devoted to contemporary tile makers and intended to provide a range of insights into their work. The slot is open to anyone involved in the field of contemporary tile making and focuses on the artistic and technical development of the artists’ work. The aim is to cover a variety of different styles and approaches to contemporary tile making.

Tony Watts.
